What is a Trendsters?
If you’re joining our community, we know that you not only love fashion and style, but that you like to follow trends that relate to you. We lovingly refer to our community members as Trendsters. Join our community in a few steps and start interacting!
How do I join?
It’s easy to join. Just click on the Join Now link at the top of the site and fill out a Trendster profile. You can then start connecting to other Trendsters and Brands.
How do I become a featured Trendster?
Our featured Trendsters are chosen based on the editorial content of our site. We normally choose our featured Trendster based on their connection to other Trendsters and Brands.
How do I make changes to my account profile?
Once you log in to your account, you may edit your profile by clicking on "Edit Profile". Make the necessary changes to your account (i.e., e-mail address, password, address.) Click "Save Changes," and the edits you have made will now be saved to your profile.
I can't create an account.
- We recommend deleting your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then close all your browsers and try signing up again. (Note: Mac users should use Safari or Firefox.)
- Make sure you didn’t add any spaces at the end of your email address or verification code.
- If someone is using your email address please go to the Retrieve Password page to have the password of the account sent to you. You can then go to 'Account Settings' and click on 'Cancel Account' to remove the account using your email address. If you sign up with your email address, then no one else will be able to use it!
We realize that we’re definitely not perfect, and things do still go wrong. If you have tried all of the above and you were not able to resolve your issue, please accept our sincere apologies. If you can send us an email to useraccounts@trendible.com and let us know the problem you encountered. By describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete as well as the error you received helps us get you the best possible answer!
I forgot my password.
On the login page you will need to click the “I forgot my password” link. You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We'll then email your password to that address.
I forgot my username.
At the login page select the “Forgot Username” option. Submit the email you started the account with. You will receive you username and password in an email sent by Trendible.
How do I change my password?
- Make sure you are logged into your Trendible account.
- Once on your personal homepage, click on "Edit Profile" (it’s in the upper left portion of the page, next to your picture).
- Click on “Change Password”.
- Enter your old password, your new password, confirm your new password, enter the verification code and click “Change”. You can now log in using your new password.
I'm trying to upload an image, and I am getting an error message... what is wrong?
- Make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats Trendible accepts (.gif, .jpg).
- Make sure the filename is simple and short, with no spaces or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is a good filename "Me downtown! shopping at Marc Jacobs.jpg" is probably not going to work.
- Make sure the file is less than 5MB. We do not allow images over 5MB.
If none of these tips help, it's possible that the image is corrupted. We suggest downloading a graphical viewer that can help you fix corrupted pics. Here is our suggestion:
- Go to www.download.com
- Search for IrfanView and download it.
- Once you have downloaded and installed IrfanView, simply run the program, open your .gif, or .jpg image, and resave it as another version (example: in IrfanView, open file named pic01.jpg, and resave it as pic01b.jpg).
- Then, simply return to Trendible and upload your newly resaved image.
How do I use the Style Guide Q&A?
Our Style Guide Q&A section allows you to ask ANY style related question you’d like, and our community will answer it for you. It’s a nifty little way to ask those questions that you’re sometimes to embarrassed to ask in public! Simply enter the Style Guide Q&A section and type in your question. In our experience, the more detailed the question, the better the answers to your question will be.
Security & Privacy
Someone on Trendible is bugging/harassing/threatening me. What can I do about it?
If you feel you and/or someone you know are in danger, contact law enforcement immediately.
- Otherwise, the best thing to do when you encounter such a situation when someone is annoying you is simply ignore them. Nine out of ten times they will soon leave you alone. Remember, you can always remove the person from your friends group (they will then no longer be able to add Comments to your Trendster page), delete any Comments they leave on your Profile page, and you can even delete any messages they send you via the Trendible Mail system without opening them.
I think someone compromised my account, I can't log in!
- First, try to retrieve the password for your account through our Password Retrieval Tool. Once you get your password, you can log into your account and change the password to your account. Make sure the password for your Trendible account is never the same for your email account!
- Next, make sure that someone didn't leave a comment on your page that could have altered the page. At times large photos can alter the appearance of your profile. To fix the problem we suggest deleting the image.
- If you can't log into your account at all, and you aren't receiving the password for your account, we will need a confirmation from you that this is your account. Click here to access our contact form and select “Profile Problems” in the subject line.

How do I report an error?

Orders & Returns
How do I place an order?
The website allows you to browse and buy products. Simply click on a product image you'd like to learn more about and you'll be taken to the individual merchant’s website. Your purchase is not administered through Trendible.com, but rather directly through the merchant's site.
Is it safe to use my credit card to make purchases?
Each merchant site maintains its own level of security. For more information, be sure to review each site's security policy, usually located at the bottom of the page.
How will my order be shipped? What if I have a return or exchange?
Each merchant has a unique shipping and returns policy. Most policies are available through the specific merchant's help page.
How do I know my order went through properly?
Immediately after your order is placed, you should receive an automated e-mail from the merchant with your order information. If you do not receive any confirmation e-mail from the merchant after 24 hours, please contact the merchant directly and they can look up the status of your order.
